Madison POV
Madison slowly stirred in bed. She rolled over and reached out her arm to see if Nathan was still in bed with her. She sighed when her fingers only felt the cold mattress next to her. He must have been up for early morning training already.
She tried reaching out to him via the mind link, but she couldn’t get through. Weird.
“Madison!” She heard Nathan’s voice. A lazy smile appeared on her face. “Back from training already, huh? Go take a shower and come back in bed with me… naked.” Madison giggled.
When she heard someone clearing their throat, she opened her eyes. She blinked in confusion.
