Chapter 6: The Twin’s Claim

990 Words
Dominic’s arm was still wrapped around me, heavy and warm, as we lay tangled in the bedsheet . My body felt dazed, lingering traces of pleasure and exhaustion from the intense s*x we had the previous night. But my mind couldn’t stop thinking about the second suit I saw in the closet, the heart emoji on his phone. The scar on the opposite wrist. Everything seemed pretty much the same thing. I turned to face him, my heart pounding. “You have a twin, don’t you?” He went instantly still. For a second, his fingers paused on my back. Then he pulled me closer, pressing a kiss on my forehead like that could erase the question. “Go back to sleep, Lila,” he murmured, his voice low and calm. I pushed up against his chest. “Don’t lie to me. I saw the photo. Two little boys. With the names Dominic and Dante” written below it. His eyes darkened. Without uttering a word, he rolled me onto my back and climbed on top of me, pinning my wrists above my head. His mouth crashed down on mine, hard and demanding, like he could kiss the truth out of my head. I turned my face away. “Stop trying to distract me.” I snapped. But he didn’t stop. He placed wet kisses on my neck down to my belly and then to my thighs, his hand sliding between my legs. “You talk too much,” he growled against my skin. He fingered my c**t, a moan escaped my lips before I could stop myself with one smooth thrust, he pushed himself inside of me. I gasped, my back arching forward. Even after everything we had done the previous night, my body still responded helplessly to his touch. He moved slowly at first, deep and deliberate, his eyes not leaving my face the whole time. “Dominic…” I moaned, trying to hold onto my anger. “Shh.” He thrust harder, his hips rolling in that perfect rhythm that made my toes curl. “You don’t need to worry about anything except this.” he groaned. I hated how good it felt. I hated how easily he could make me forget my anger in a twinkle of an eye. My legs wrapped around his waist as he went in deeper, rougher this time, like he was punishing me for asking questions. I came fast, crying out as pleasure rippled through me. He followed right after, burying himself deep into my honey pot with a low groan. For a few moments, we just breathed together. Then he kissed my forehead again and rolled off me. “I have business to attend right away,” he said, already reaching for his clothes. “Stay in the penthouse. Don’t go anywhere.” He dressed up quickly and left without looking back. I lay there for a long time, staring at the ceiling, my body satisfied, but my mind wasn't. The second I heard the front door close, I got up, pulled on a robe, and went back to the drawer. I took out that old photo again. Two identical boys smiling at the camera. Dominic and Dante. My hands shook as I put it back. I walked into the kitchen to get some water, trying to calm down my racing thoughts. I had just opened the fridge when I felt strong arms suddenly wrapped around me from behind. A hard body pressed against my back, pinning me against his chest. “He doesn’t get you alone,” a deep voice whispered in my ear. The same voice as Dominic’s, but this one sounded rougher and filled with raw hunger. He spun me around fast. His eyes identical to his brother’s but blazing with wild intensity, locked on mine. Before I could speak, he kissed me like he owned me. Hard, deep and claiming. His tongue pushed into my mouth as one hand slid under my robe, gripping my bare thigh and lifting it around his hip. I should have pushed him away. I should have screamed. Instead, pleasure exploded through me. My body reacted instantly, pressing closer to him even when my mind screamed at me to pull away from him and bolt. “You feel that right?” he murmured against my lips, grinding his hardness against my belly. “That’s what you do whenever you're close to any of us. Dominic doesn’t own you, Lila. I do too.” My heart slammed against my ribs. Terror and dark thrill twisting together until I couldn’t breathe. I hated how much I wanted him to keep touching me. The front door flew open. Dominic stepped inside, still in his black suit. His eyes landed on us; me pressed against the counter, Dante’s hand under my robe, my face flushed and lips swollen. I froze. His jaw just tightened for one dangerous second. I expected him to explode in anger but he didn't. Rather he smiled slowly, cold and terrifying, shutting the door with a soft click. “Wonderful,” he said, his voice calm and steady. “She’ll carry both our heirs, then.” Dante didn’t let me go. His hand remained possessively on my thigh as he turned his head toward his brother, a wicked grin spreading across his face. Dominic walked closer, his eyes locked on mine the entire time. “You heard me, Lila. Enough of the hiding and playing of games. You belong to both of us now.” My breath caught in my throat. The photo kept reappearing in my mind. My body still tingled from Dante’s kiss. And now both twins stood in front of me, watching me with the same dark, hungry look. I was no longer just Dominic’s contract wife. I was theirs. And from the way they both looked at me, they have no intention of ever letting me go.
