After we’d left Kiera with some vague information, we headed back to our home realm. I didn’t fully trust her enough to tell her everything, but I didn’t see any harm in letting her do her own asking about Morga’s location. I doubted she would turn anything up, anyway.
Natalie went to the stairs, heading up to our room, but I grabbed her hand.
“Let’s go somewhere else.”
She smiled and squeezed my hand. I led her towards the elevator. I was growing tired of the packhouse, and I missed my tower. It was true I was a solitary creature, even without my dragon.
