Returning home
Alessa I had the phone in my hand as endless thoughts ran through my mind. I didn't know how my brother would take the news I was about to tell him. But, he knew me, and I couldn't lie to him. Besides, during those five years I couldn't push myself to get accepted to Central University, I just wanted to be rejected and go home. After all, my brother had sent me away for a long time and it was time for me to return. I was 18 now, and it was time to do what I wanted to do, and what I wanted at that moment was to go back to my hometown. "Hello?" I finally heard my brother's voice through the phone. "Phoenix!" I exclaimed when I heard his voice. "Alessa? Wow, I wasn't expecting your call... Did you get any news from the institute?" he immediately asked me. I arched an eyebrow and frowned as he passed the phone to my other ear "About that.." I said "What happened?" he asked, becoming a bit serious. "Phoenix, I didn't get selected" I said with an innocent grin on my face. There was a slight silence for a few seconds until his voice came back "f**k Alessa, what are you going to do now?" he sounded a bit surprised by the news. "I've thought about it, and maybe I can go back home and send my papers to the institute where our parents studied. Besides, I don't have anything else to do here, I..." Before I could finish my words, my brother's voice intervened "You mean live here? Live with me?" "Yes, why not? It's quite a big house, isn't it?" I insinuated with a slight sigh. "Yes, it's big, but I don't live alone" he said. I froze for a second "Do you have a girlfriend? I didn't know about it" I said "No, I don't have a girlfriend. But, I live with a colleague..." he answered and let out a deep sigh. As soon as I heard those words I knew exactly who he meant "f**k, it's okay. I can take it. I like all your friends, except for Logan..." I said with a chuckle at the end. "There's the dilemma" "Did you?" I asked without even coordinating my words. "Yes, Alessa, I live with Logan. get it, he's been my best friend for as long as I can remember, what did you expect?" he asked. "I was hoping never to see that i***t again" I replied wanting to hang up the call. Logan was my brother's best friend, he was a cocky guy, white skin, black hair, with a pretty tall body and green eyes. However, he was also arrogant, ruthless and used to play with women as if they were worth nothing more than to f**k them. I hated seeing him and hearing how he talked about girls, he was a complete i***t who didn't deserve my brother's friendship. "If you want to live with me, you'll have to learn to live with Logan. Or go and buy your own flat, after all, you can collect your share of the inheritance, can't you?" he said mockingly. I frowned as I shook my head "I don't want to go back to living alone". "Well, then you should avoid getting into trouble with Logan. Learn to behave yourself," he said. "Okay" I responded by gritting my teeth in annoyance. I was so annoyed that my brother continued this absurd friendship, however, I didn't want to stay abroad alone. I missed my brother, besides, after the death of my parents, he was the only family I had, and I didn't want to spend another day away from him. *** A couple of days had passed when I finally bought the tickets to go back to the city. My brother was as anxious as I was to see each other again. As I was on the plane, a familiar feeling ran through my body. I missed the city and its smell of wet grass. it was always snowing, and the sun was quite mild, the people had a different aura to the foreigners. As soon as the plane landed, I walked through the corridors of the airport with a smile from ear to ear. I quickly searched for my belongings and walked towards the exit to wait for my brother. However, more than 3 hours had passed and I kept calling him on the phone, but he didn't answer. I checked the last messages to see if he had been given my arrival date correctly, but everything was in order. Since he didn't answer, I decided to go to one of the airport bars and had a couple of drinks to warm up my body. After 20 minutes, my mind started to cloud over. I quickly made up my mind and called for a taxi, after all, it was obvious that my brother was not going to pick me up. As soon as I got into the taxi, I gave him the address my brother had sent me a couple of weeks ago and after an hour the car finally parked. "We're here, miss" said the man with enthusiasm. "Thank you very much" I said as the man helped me get my bags out of the car. I quickly pulled out my phone and dialed my brother again, but the phone was switched off. I had so much anger coursing through my veins, how could Phoenix have forgotten about the day I was coming back to town? As I walked to the door, a couple of raindrops fell on my shoulders. "f**k!" I cursed as I grabbed my bags in one hand, and carried two bags in the other hand. "Excuse me? Do you want me to help you?" I heard the voice of one of the security men. I was really hoping to refuse, but I was too exhausted to carry all my stuff up to the lift. I nodded to the man without hesitation, as he walked towards the building. "One question, does Phoenix Dallas live here?" I asked. The man smiled and nodded without hesitation "Yes, he lives on the top floor" he said. As we got into the lift I looked in the mirror and frowned, my clothes were all soaked while my makeup was smeared and my hair was dripping. However, what was bothering me was that I was wearing an almost see-through dress, which clung to my body like a second skin. I shook my head and peeled off the dress trying to leave something more to the imagination, but the effort was in vain. Suddenly the lift stopped and I immediately pulled out my bags. I turned around again and scanned the place with my eyes. There was a huge dark door with a rumbling sound coming from inside. I sighed and rolled my bags as I rang the doorbell with no answer. I rang it again a couple of times until finally a tall blonde girl opened the door. My eyes widened like saucers when I saw the girl. She was really beautiful, but she was only wearing a tiny bikini over her body. The woman looked at me from head to toe as she let out a slight smile "And who are you?" she asked with an arrogant expression. "I... hello... is this where Phoenix Dallas lives?" I asked, stuttering from the cold. The woman let out a cynical laugh and turned around "Phoenix, some strange girl is asking for you" she said with a shout. Hearing her I frowned with annoyance, she had really called me weird? I shook my head trying to control myself, while I looked a bit inside the flat. Suddenly my brother comes to the door adjusting his trousers with a lost expression. "Shit... Alessa? you... What are you doing? What day is it today?" he hinted in halting words as he looked at his watch. I looked at my brother and pursed my lips. He was shirtless and his eyes were completely red, his expression was lost and his trousers were about to be stripped. He looked at me in embarrassment as he opened the door a little wider and gestured to me to encourage me to come in. "You're a complete i***t!" I said in reply as I crossed my arms and took a step towards the flat. The place was completely different from how I had imagined it. The door opened into a giant living room that seemed to be endless. One of the walls had a huge window that covered the entire wall with a view of the city. When I turned around I saw a huge terrace that had a glass door that looked like a sealed mirror. However, my attention was focused on the center of the large living room, where there were 4 huge sofas facing each other with a small glass table in the middle. To one side was a huge 85 inch TV and a minibar that seemed to be stocked with expensive bottles. I sighed and suddenly saw that one of the sofas was occupied by a guy, who had a voluptuous blonde on his lap straddling him. The girl was kissing his mouth, almost inhaling his breath, while there was a second girl kissing the guy's neck while her hand was massaging his trousers. My eyes widened like two plates when I saw that his trousers looked like a tent with his erect c**k. I quickly looked around and saw that there were several empty beer cans on the floor and a couple of half-empty bottles on the table. I also furrowed my eyebrows as the glass of the table had a white powder slightly hidden under a white sheet. I looked back at my brother and sighed wryly "Is this why you sent me away?" I said with a sneer. He looked completely embarrassed, but just looked down "f**k Alessa, I'm so sorry. I didn't know you were coming today... I mean, I did, but shit... I don't know what happened to me" he said rubbing his hands on his face as he sighed deeply. "Alessa?" I heard a familiar voice from behind Phoenix.
