Xavier’s POV
After some intense searching and a bit of drama, I finally got access to the room she booked at Blue field. And guess what? I had to go in there all by myself. When I stepped inside, all I found was my trusty jacket and her favorite pack of chocolates. Talk about a wild goose chase! I closed that door quick and headed back outside to confront the manager.
I couldn't help but give him a piece of my mind. “Seriously, how on earth could someone be kidnapped in your fancy hotel, and you didn't even notice or catch it on your fancy CCTV cameras?” I snapped at him.
He started giving me some lame excuse about the lights being tampered with. I wasn't having any of it.
