Aria's POV “We're in the middle of nowhere?” I shouted, turning to Toria, who whipped out a gun from her pocket and handed it to me. “Take it, and keep your voice down,” she said, pointing the gun in my direction. “Nah, I don't want it,” I replied, quickly stepping away from it. “Alright,” she said, tucking it back into her bag. “Let's keep moving. If you hear any noise, just keep walking and don't look back,” she advised, as we cautiously made our way through the thick bushes. “This house is the only one around here,” I whispered as we walked, and I could see her nodding in agreement. “Derek is a real troublemaker, wanted by almost everyone. It won't be easy for him to blend in with regular folks until he gets the power he's after. He won't leave his hiding spot,” she explained. F
