Aria’s POV
“Is he still on the bed? Should I open my eyes?” I thought, trying to move to the middle of the bed to confirm if he had left.
“Or maybe he isn't here,” I thought, a smile spreading across my face.
As I opened my eyes, he was looking directly into my eyes, smiling widely. “When did you get here?” I asked, surprised.
“I've been here all along,” he replied, laughing.
“How???” I said, using the sheets to cover my face in embarrassment. After all the drama, I put on to check whether he was here or not.
“It must have been funny to watch me do that,” I said, trying to look at him.
“Very funny. Second time, and you're still shy, huh?” he said, taking my cheeks in his hands. “Yesterdays was the best. If you keep this up, I might have to devour you every day.”
