“Someone is definitely behind this accident,” I said, sitting on the bed in Xavier's room.
“Hmm,” he replied in a low voice, fully focused on his laptop. I decided to wait until he was done. He had been on that laptop for the past 30 minutes since I arrived. I couldn't even get angry because he had already warned me that he might not be fully present for the next hour.
