I didn't come back until late at night. Earlier in the afternoon, I had called Ethan to help me check on Aria in the hospital and let her know that I would be coming home later in the evening. I had another thing to prepare for - the upcoming board meeting. I truly enjoy being a businessman more than being involved in the mafia, so I'm determined to hold on to my CEO position. I can’t afford to lose it. Not now, not ever.
The excuse of not being married was no longer valid. Today, while reviewing the criteria, I realized why my mom had been so insistent on me getting married before showing interest in the position. The first and most important requirement on the list was to be married.
At least I've passed stage one. Now, I need to find people I can trust to form alliances
