Untold Faith

Amanda was on the dinning when her mum called her, telling her to prepare for a journey. Amanda didn't want to go cause she had something else in mind to do for the summer. She told her mum that she didn't want to go for any journey but her mum refused saying that she couldn't leave her alone in the house for a month. Amanda pleaded with her mum telling her she won't be alone that her brother Mark will come back. Amanda had a brother who was still in the university. "Amanda u know your brother isn't coming back for the holiday" says mum, Amanda pleaded with her mum promising her she won't have any friends over and she won't throw any party, her mum thought about the situation......"darling please don't force me to do this"....mum I'm 16 please just give me a chance please mum pleaded Amanda. Her mum kept quiet for some time and decided to give her a chance. Amanda was very excited she hugged her mum and went to help her prepare for the journey. After some hours Amanda's mum left for her journey. Amanda was home alone happily. She went behind her mother's back and called her friend Charlotte to come over. After some time Charlotte came over, Amanda welcomed her and told her to stay with her for the summer holidays. Charlotte was happy to stay and agreed. The next day, Charlotte and Amanda were on the dinning table when Charlotte asked Amanda if they could throw a party on her birthday, Amanda agreed saying it's her party so she could throw a party..."Amanda...I mean can I throw a party in your house and invite all our friends over?" asked Charlotte...Amanda kept quiet remembering the promise she made to her mother, she had already broken one by inviting Charlotte over and now she's about to break another. Amanda refused telling Charlotte that she couldn't go against another promise she made to her mother but Charlotte insisted saying it's going to be a simple party no drinks no too much fun, Amanda sitting on the other side couldn't refuse her best friend and at the same time didnt want to go against her words again...mum won't know about the party she thought to herself. Charlotte pleaded continuously leaving Amanda with no other choice but to accept her request. Charlotte was excited, she ran towards Amanda and hugged her tightly. Amanda went to her room thoughts running through her mind "will mum know, what will she do if she finds out, what will I tell her if she does"..hmmmmm.. Charlotte came in and saw Amanda in a worried state she told her not to think about it promising her that her mum will never find out about it. Amanda decided to trust her friend. It reached the day of the party. Amanda and Charlotte were at the door welcoming the guests when a guy named Stephen came he went towards Charlotte and complimented her dressing asking for her name, Charlotte introduced herself and he did the same. Stephen went inside the house..."I think he likes me " said Charlotte....hahaha Amanda laughed telling to her to concentrate on why she's here .."we welcome guest we start the party we cut the cake we distribute the gifts and everyone goes home okay? said Amanda "yes girl" replied Charlotte. They both went back inside, Amanda the mc welcomed everyone to the party. Charlotte came on stage "who wants to have fun???!!!! DJ come on" exclaimed Charlotte. Amanda went towards her friend and told her not to have too much fun ........ Charlotte told her to calm down and enjoy the moment, Amanda sighed and walked towards her room. On her way, she found her mother's door open...."mum's door is never open when she's not around" Amanda thought to herself, she decided to check if anything's wrong, she went into the room, looked around and saw her mother's wardrobe was half open. She went close and suddenly someone hit a rod on her head and she fainted. After some few hours, Amanda woke up and found herself on the floor, she stood up immediately and ran downstairs...to her surprise no one was there, she was shocked, she screamed her friend's name Charlotte but no reply. Everywhere was scattered. She remembered that they was a camera in the sitting room, she decided to check it out. She connected it to her laptop but nothing showed. She realized someone tampered with it....Amanda didn't know what to do, she picked up her phone she tried calling Charlotte but no reply came back she called some of her friends thag came for the party but no reply came back, Amanda got worried sick about them... different thoughts popped out in her head "were they kidnapped, did they do or steal anything and ran away" Amanda started crying...she thought of calling her mother but she couldn't cause of the consequences so she decided to sole the problem herself. She went back to the place she was hit and thought to her self who would ever want to do this to her, she remembered that her mother's wardrobe was half open.... she decided to check it out, to her surprise......all her mother's jewelry were gone, she opened her father's side of the wardrobe and found nothing in his jewelry box. Amanda went round the house and found out that all the jewelry and expensive stuffs in the house were gone...Amanda was left speechless and suddenly started feeling dizzy and fainted. After some hours Amanda woke up with a splash of water on her face...she opened her eyes slightly and saw her friend Charlotte standing next to her. Amanda was shocked and asked how she got here, "we were attacked by a group of people Amanda..they took us with them but I escaped ..I was looking for you but u were no where to be found for once I thought they took u with them ..I'm so sorry Amanda its all my fault if I didn't ask for this party none of this would have happened" cried Charlotte... they didnt only kidnap u guys but they napped all the jewelries in our house Charlotte!!!! I'm dead my mum's gonna kill me why did I agree to the party cried Amanda, Charlotte told her to calm down that she's gonna help her find the criminal.."how do u expect me to calm down huh??!!" cried Amanda, Charlotte reassured her friend that everything's gonna be okay.... she wiped Amanda's tears off her face and told her not to worry too much. Amanda asked if she had any idea where they took the other people...." I think I do Amanda.. we were all inside a truck I escaped half way the journey but I think we can track them down from there. Amanda breathed and grabbed her phone with her asking Charlotte to follow her, on their way outside...... Her mum came walking towards . to be continued.......
