After dinner, I’d decided to go up to my room and do some homework to finish off the night.  My Dad and Theo had complained, wanting me to stay downstairs, watch a movie with them but my mother had shushed them, telling me to do whatever I wanted to do.  “Don’t let these two lugs bully you into anything, sweetie.”  She’d elbowed Dad who pouted, though he seemed fine after I gave him a big hug and kiss on the cheek.     I smiled just thinking about it.  My family seemed closer now.  It was nice.     I’d opted to take a shower first, something I did more often than what was probably deemed regular now that I had the option.  I had been brushing my teeth constantly too, thankful to feel truly clean after a whole week of filth.  My mom had told me to cut it down to twice a day again because
