Cronan’s POV   My human is so . . . complex.     I found myself standing outside the bathroom door, listening to her internal ramblings.  A mess, really.  Her thoughts were a web of confusion, frustration, and outrage.  Even now she was thinking about the fact that I could hear her.  She knows I can hear her.     Worse, she’s worried that I’m outside the bathroom door.     Sighing, I turned my back to the door, leaning back against it.     Now she’s certain I’m here.     And she’s angry about that too.     She wants me to leave.     She wants me to hold her.     And she hates me the most.     Terrible, terrifying, impossible—the words just keep swirling around in her head, threatening to strangle me.  Twice she’s thought about coming out and facing me head on.  I genuinely hoped
