Last night after everyone had left us I had found all my clothes slashed. f*****g Leah had ruined most of my clothes and I needed to get some more. I was arranging a shopping trip with Sam, Chloe, Jordyn and Imogen when the boys walked back into the room.

“So what did she say?” I asked Cam, they had caught Leah last night. She was in the bath as if she had no part in helping the demon.

“Not much, she’s playing dumb.” Mason said.

“We could get Imogen to beat her ass, see if she talks then” Alex suggested.

“No!” I said as I stood up looking at Cam.

“ I have an idea,” Cam, Alex and Mason all turned to me “I will go ask her.” Cam was about to say something but I held my hand up to stop him.

“She hates me, she might slip up about her part in all of this because of that hatred. Please let me.” It didn’t matter if he agreed or not I would do this.

“I know that look Lis.” Alex said exasperated.

“Yes you do and I’m going. So you can either get behind me or move out on my way.” I said with determination. Cam let out a deep sigh.

“Fine,” he grunted out defeated.

I got to the cells and the guard opened it up for me. I made the guys stay behind, if she saw them she would not let anything slip.

The door opened up and I walked in, Leah was sitting at a table handcuffed to a bar in the centre. I walked over and sat down. A look of disgust written all over her face.

“Good afternoon Leah.” I smiled at her and got a scoff in return.

“How are you being treated in here?”

“Tut don’t play nicey nice with me, I know your game!” She hissed at me.

“I’m not playing a game Leah I genuinely want to know if you’re been treated well.”

“It’s your f*****g fault I’m in here. Making s**t up about me.”

“Leah I have not made anything up about you. You got caught out and now you have to pay for your crime.”

“You think that because you come in here and be all sweet as pie that you're the better person.” she spat in my direction “Your a f.ucking slut!” Her high pitched voice bounced around the empty room, penetrating my ears.

“You’re right… I did come here to make myself look good, but no one will ever know that. I look like the sweet little Luna willing to help a traitor and show her kindness.” I held my head high and smirked at Leah. I hope my plan works.

“I knew it! I f.ucking knew it! Your a f*****g b***h! Wait till Cam finds out.”

I lean over and grab her face in my hand, squeezing her face slightly.

“He’s never gonna find out. They think you’re crazy. You out of the way leaves Cam all to myself. I can’t compete with you.”

“B.ITCH!!!!!!! I hope Blagden rips your heart out and shoves it down your f*****g throat.”

“Who???” Her eyes pop open, “Oh the demon… he’s my play thing.” I wink and put my finger to my lips as if to tell her to be quiet. I see the moment in her eyes, the moment she realised what I was insinuating.

“Why the f***k would Blagden get me to take your s.hit tell him all about what your doing and put that f.ucking box in your room if you and him are f***k buddies”

“Thank you Leah” I stood up and walked out the room.

“I want to see the Alpha now!” I hear her screaming.

“Wow, I’m impressed. Who knew our Luna was a master of deception.” Mason says, looking impressed with me. We’re all sitting in the dining room eating, Mum, Dad, uncle David, aunt June, Faye and Carter are all having a meal at a cafe in the territory and Violet and Max have joined us before leaving again tomorrow.

“She gets it from me.” Alex says

We all start laughing at him.

“What?” He looks offended.

“So what next?” Chloe asked.

“We will weed them out!” Cam says whilst nodding his head.

“What the f***k does that mean?” Sam says, trust Sam to say what she’s thinking.

“Leah said something about taking my things and giving information about me so use me.” I shrug as if it’s nothing

“NO!!!” Cam’s eyes turn black.

“Baby, use me to your advantage”

“I said no Alisa. End of discussion!” He snarls.

I was so p.issed with Cam the way he spoke to me in front of everyone. I’ve been giving him the silent treatment all night, I even became as petty as staying at uncle David’s and aunt June’s house. Mum and dad don’t have a spare bed at the moment. I’m pretty sure they will be rectifying that soon. It killed me to stay away from Cam but he made me feel like a child the way he scolded me in front of our closest friends. And I just had to be so damn bloody stubborn.

“Good morning sweetie.” Aunt June whipped the cover off me.

“Grrrrrrrr!”

“Don’t growl at me young lady!” She said with a tone I knew meant not to push it.

“Sorry aunt June,”

“Don’t be,”

She came and sat on the bed next to me, and put her arm around me.

“You have training in 20 minutes and your lessons start at 10 today.” I had switched to online learning a couple of weeks ago with the threat of the demon out there Cam nearly had a heart attack when I said I was off to college so I switched, he had enough stress and I didn’t want to add to it also it gives me more time to do my Luna duties.

“I’ll be down in 5 minutes,” she kissed my cheek and walked out. I quickly showered and got dressed into some leggings and a tank top and headed downstairs.

I walked over to the training grounds with Finn, Blake, my Dad and uncle, my Dad had decided he wanted to train as well so uncle David also joined. It encouraged a few more of the older members to train. My Dad said he wanted to be prepared for anything and it shouldn’t be fair to expect the younger members to be the only ones to protect us if something happened.

Whilst going blow to blow with Imogen, Cam’s scent hit me. I scanned around and saw him standing to the side just by the tree line watching me. He must have been running because his body glistened in the sun from the sweat trickling over his perfect chest. He had a smirk on his face but f**k he was sexy as hell and he knew it.

“Go talk to him. Mal said he’s been in a foul mood all morning.” Imogen said.

“Ok thanks Imogen.” I started to walk over to him, never taking my eyes off him. His sexy smile made me weak in my knees. I got closer about to apologise for acting like a child when he grabbed me and pushed me against the tree. The rough bark biting at my skin. He kissed me with such passion and greed, like he was never going to taste my lips again. I was thankful for being against the tree. I went to wrap my arms around his neck but he grabbed them and held them over my head with one hand so I couldn’t touch him. His free hand was roaming my body and my skin was sending off electric shocks from his touch. I moaned into his mouth. He pulled away and peppered kisses along my jaw towards my ear, sucking and nibbling on my ear lobe, he went lower and I felt his tongue flick out, licking a trail down to my mark. His free hand pushed through the band on my pants and slipped in between my legs. My eyes shot open when I realised what he was about to do.

As he said that into my mind he slipped his fingers inside of me. I groaned with pleasure whilst he smashed his lips onto mine again to muffle the sounds. We walked back towards and pack house and up to our room, when inside Cam ledme towards the bed and sat down, he pulled me towards him so I was straddling him.

“I’m sorry my love, you mean more than life itself. I can’t let you willingly put yourself in danger…. I don’t know what I would do if I lost you.” His eyes glistened and it broke my heart to see him upset like this.

“Cam, I’m sorry, I acted like a child I was just pissed.” His lips crashed into mine again and I felt his erection poking me.

After mind blowing make up s*x we went down to Cam’s office, Katrina was waiting outside for me to do some training and then I had school work to do. I didn’t want to be away from Cam so he said I could use his office. I luckily had some spare clothes still at aunt June and uncle David’s house so I was going to get some new stuff in a few days’ time when it was a little safer.

“So I think I know which ability you have but we will have to test it out to see if I’m correct…. It would be best to do this outdoors.” She looked over to Cam who was busy doing pack work.

“Stay on the training grounds.”

Katrina and I had been having little sessions together. So far I had learnt that I’m an empath which means I can feel others emotions. She’s been helping me control that. At first it was an overwhelming feeling, everything everyone was feeling flowed through me, but now I’ve mastered it and can use it on who I want or need to.

“Ok Luna in your dream it was a defensive ability. I want to see if you can do it again.” Katrina said once we were outside.

“Ok so you’re gonna att…”

Before I could finish Katrina was running towards me, I dodged out of the way before she made contact with me.

“This won’t work Katrina.”

“Hmmmm your right,” she started to mutter something and the ground beneath my feet shook. A fallen tree was hurtling towards me and I froze. It hit me and threw me backwards.

“s**t! I’m sorry Luna. I’m not really sure what I can do to help with your power. I can feel it but I can’t access it and neither can you… we will try again … Soon, I’m going to do some research first.”

“It’s ok Katrina, thank you for helping me.” She helped me up and we made our way back inside.

“Well Luna until next time.” She bowed and walked away.

I made my way back inside and couldn’t help the feeling of being watched, I looked around but couldn’t see a soul in sight. I made it to Cam’s office and got to work. The college assignments are getting a little easier now I’m used to the classes. Cam is with Mason and Alex when Max and Violet walk in.

“We have to go now Cam.” Violet walked over and gave him a hug and I stood up to say goodbye as well. I gave Max a big hug first and kissed him on his cheek.

“Take care of them and yourself” he had become very dear to me

“I will, you look after yourself ok and make sure Cam stays out of trouble.” We both laughed.

“Hey, what about me?” Violet pouted. I walked over to her and gave her a long and loving hug. Max and Cam were doing the bro hug thing.

“Please don’t overdo anything and make sure you take things slow.” I said to her. I could feel that she was anxious but she would be a wonderful mother.

“I’ll try. I love you Alisa.” She kissed my forehead and walked over and took Max’s hand.

“We have to go say bye to Mom and Dad. We love you both. Goodbye.”

“Goodbye drive safe.”

“We love you guys goodbye.” Cam and I said at the same time.

Cam got settled back into work and I carried on with college work peacefully after that.
