Chapter 1Rachel Vidal was only looking at the stars. Each glowing orb was technically fake; nothing but a light show at the local science museum that she’d taken her nephew to for the day, but each twinkling twilight still sparkled in the dark and warmed her heart. She couldn’t help but lean back and smile at the mysteries of the universe, including those the speaker from the museum skipped right over. While the tall and leggy blonde spoke in depth about the night sky, what would be visible tonight such as Venus’ low glow, she seemed to have no time for the complex nature of astrological signs and the myth on which Venus was based.
Rachel sighed. The omission was a tragedy, really. But even if the museum leader had expanded on the occult wonders of the skyline, Rachel might not have heard
