Chapter 2Trish slid designer sunglasses over her nose the moment she was in the car. Her small sedan suddenly felt like a luxury vehicle. With the windows open a crack, just enough to let some air inside, both of their hair had been swept away as the music from the local radio station kept them company. Since the traffic was relatively clear for a Tuesday afternoon, they managed to make it to the SRachel Center Mall in rapid time, and found a parking spot right in front of the makeup store. Rachel did her best to fix her flyaways using the mirror in the car, but she decided she liked them. The wisps gave her and Trish an edge they’d not had in their climate-controlled office. Rachel almost felt like they were on a Thelma and Louise type of adventure, only she hoped that this one would end
