AXEL
The light from the truck's headlight was all they could see as it drew dangerously close to their car. The driver made no move to move the car away from the way and he was driving straight towards the other vehicle.
He wanted the car to collide. He was probably risking his own life because he was blackmailed to do so. He was set up by someone, an enemy, and he was all set to take the lives of both the people he was carrying even if he survives.
He was set out to kill Axel and Ezra and erase their existence. And he was just a few seconds from achieving it exactly the way he wanted. To make the one who has ordered him to do so satisfied and willing to let go of him and probably his family that was held hostage.
Axel leapt in front from Ezra in his arms and grabbed the driver's shirt
