Joy behind the smileWhen I talk about joy I am talking about my older home. Where all the children can came together and make happy moments and memories. From young to old Little nieces and nephews dancing on the tree stump and others running around the house. The young team that sits and drinks with music.My Dad and his brothers grilling. My Mother and the women drinking  a beer while they prepare the salads. My favorite uncle Jannie who sang the most fun songs. My aunty Galiema who cries anytime because my MOTHER is her best sister-in-law. My aunt katriena watching everything. We have to walk around her so lightly before she pulls out our bare ass and hit us with the wet cloth over our behinds. Uncle Jan Kat who wants to shoot any child with the slingshot. When they walk in the garden. Each person in the family was just a character and that's where the joy was.The word Love is where I see my parents. My Dad is so Very gentle natured the most caring person that every child would accept to come and live with us. Sometimes we felt he chose the Other Above us. My Dad was a helping man with a helping hand. My mother my everything was the strictest loving mother who welcomed everyone with an open heart she may not have been perfect but her heart was the most beautiful thing in this world. The word of the Lord is honor your mother and your Father and your days will be prolonged.
