Love by Chance

Tega woke up with a startle, was she imagining things or did she actually hear the crashing sound as she fell down the water fall, oh wait that happened in her dream but it felt so real that she was shaken up, she had a great job and a nice apartment, two bull headed friends who called her their guy because she basically acted like one of them and mostly dressed in loose clothing, comfort was non negotiable for her, she would rather wear a loose trousers and a slightly loose shirt than wear a dress although she wears a dress every now and then especially when she has to dress fancy for work. She got out of bed and took a quick shower, ate her cereal and went out the door, her car has been messing up lately and seeing that she was running late for work, she didn't want to risk it so she took the bus, while in the bus, she went through her phone and responded to her chat from Craig and Toby, they had been out clubbing the night before, she was suppose to go with them but turned it down, she doesn't joke with her sleep, she saw the message from Craig telling her how she missed out on all the fun, according to him, he met a girl there and he's completely smitten by her, he even sent a picture of her and a small smile tugged at Tega's lip while starring at the picture, so typical of Craig, thinking every girl he fancies is the love of his life, if love was that easy why hasn't she found her true love, shaking her head and discarding that thought she read Toby's chat, he said he missed her and can't wait for them to catch up during the weekend, they will be hanging out at Craig's. she got down at her bus stop and headed for the office, went in and picked up her to do list for the day, she was to create an official logo for three companies, she did her research on each of the company and with the information she gathered she prepared her sketch for their logo and submitted it for approval before proceeding to design the logo on her system at the close of work she was exhausted and wanted nothing more than getting in her bed and going off to dream land, at the thought of dream she remembered the dream she had earlier on today, what was that all about, she went swimming and suddenly she found herself in a turbulent water and before she could even try escaping she was falling down a water fall, she belief that dreams always has a meaning but was hoping this one means something positive even though she knew in her heart that falling is never a good sign, she still hoped for the best, the honking of cars by the road side woke her up from her thoughts and she focused on the road, walking within the pedestral path to avoid accidents she had witness one last week when a boy of fifteen was walking by the road while chatting on his phone, he didn't realise he was no longer walking on the pedestral path and he got knocked down by a car, though it was a small impact and the boy will probably be fine but still one can never be too careful.
