My lips slowly curled up in a dangerous smile, when I realized that my thoughts had been confirmed.
It was Gary all along!
I glanced over at Brenda and saw her clenched fists making me know that she was really angry.
I signaled Frank with my hand to leave, which he did immediately, and closed the door after he left.
“I was kidding when I told you I had eaten, but I can’t keep up with the joke now,” I said sincerely with a light smile on my face, but she simply shrugged.
“Gary would pay for this, but that would be after the launching of the new Automobile,” I thought, and went back to my seat just to see Brenda arranging the food on my desk absentmindedly.
