Chapter 19
Brenda’s POV.
Turning around slowly on the bed made me realize that I slept on the bed, but I didn’t remember laying there.
My eyes fluttered open in an instant, as I sat up immediately—taking a look around the room, before letting out a sigh.
I came down from the bed and wanted to check out the suite—when my eyes caught the note placed on the side of the bed.
Picking it up, it read; “Hey, I’ll be in the company in case you look for me, and not to worry—I’ll be back soon.”
I chuckled and shrugged slightly, dropping the note back on the side of the bed, and going straight into the bathroom to freshen up.
It wasn’t long after I came out with water dripping from my hair, and I was wrapped in a towel.
I picked up a simple dress that had a flowery pattern from my closet
