Gary’s POV.
Relaxing on my chair, my eyes wandered around the corner of the room, but my mind was far from my environment.
“Sir,” A voice jolted me out of my thoughts, and I jumped back to reality.
I saw my guard standing right in front of me with his head bowed.
“Any news?”
“Yes sir, They got married,” He said, his voice lower than usual.
“How come?” I asked him, and he lowered his head.
He didn’t know!
“I tried finding out a lot, but none seems to be aware,” He replied.
“Did you meet her friend?” I asked him the moment I remembered how close Brenda was with Cecilia. It would be impossible for Cecilia not to know about it.
“I’m on the lookout for her, we’ve not seen her yet,” He said, and I hummed lightly, signaling him to leave with my hand.
