Brenda’s POV.
“What happened?” Lucien asked, getting on his feet as he walked towards me.
I showed him the text Gary sent to me, as I seethed in rage.
He gestured for me to give him the phone and I handed it over to him so he could see the text Gary sent.
“What in heaven’s name is this?” He asked me, his eyes widening and I noticed he clenched his fists tightly.
“Gary is daring me,” He added, looking at the text which goes thus;
“Oh, my darling Brenda who seems to have forgotten how deadly I can be. I hope you don’t forget that I can make life a living hell for you for going ahead to marry my uncle…an old fool,”
“What is he up to? I know that he’s up to no good. Gary won’t stop until he accomplishes whatever it is that he has set his heart on,” I said all at once.
