Prologue
Charlotte lives in a little village in the Northern Bhutan Ghasa district, she came from a family of herders who have been living an unchanged life in the Himalayan Glaciers. Her tribe is famously known as the best Archers in Lunana and had been sent to various competitions in exchange for food.
Then one day, Charlotte was chosen by their village chief to represent their townlet named Zongophu to defeat their town rival, the Kangphu tribe who are believers of the seven Tibetan brothers.
On the third day of the tribal war, pilgrims from Great Britain showed up at the foot of the vast mountain of Jejekangphu Kang. The pilgrims' mission is to provide Lunana ethnics knowledge of what civilization is.
Charlotte's curiosity starts to build up and she begins to question the validity of her towns' legislation and traditions. She wondered why do they have to s*******r beasts wherein fact they help in balancing the ecosystem? Why do they have to revolt against another clan when they can at least grow their own vegetable and herbs in their native land?
Why were they not taught about writing, computations, and science? Why don't they attend school? Why do pilgrims consider their place as a highly remote place?
And what is civilization?
She befriended Sarah, a pilgrim, and asked her to feed her curiosity. Sarah offered to join her in her voyage to Britain, she immediately said yes but her cult was against her decision.
The town chief then arranged for Charlotte's marriage, but she resisted her chief's will.
The town had conspired in making Charlotte feel the wrath of the Zongophu tribe, she escaped and found both bitterness and love in a new place......
