Thorin wasn’t prepared to answer her questions. Everyone had been given precise instructions, but thinking quickly was part of his training. “Perhaps she was returning a book. That is my library she was coming out of. Now, let’s enjoy some time together before dinner tonight. I don’t want to waste our time together this weekend.” He held his hand out to Felita, and she took it.
He gently tugged, and she pressed into him. “What do you want to do? I could show you more of the castle, or we could relax here. I have a movie room, a game room, and a hot tub. You name it, and I will make it happen.” Thorin enjoyed having her in his arms as he waited for her answer. Her head rested on his shoulder, and her arms were wrapped around his waist.
