When Felita finally woke, it was early afternoon, and her stomach demanded food. She was pressed against Thorin’s chest, facing him as he held her loosely in his arms. His breathing was still slow and light, so she knew he was sleeping. She admired his dark hair and the pale planes of his face. She knew that when he woke, startling red eyes would stare back at her. She wondered if they had kids, it would be a red-eyed werewolf baby. She had never heard of a werewolf with red eyes, but she didn’t know any werewolves mated to dragons either.
