As they left the Argos Herb & Essence Shoppe, Lenny Volkes paused on the sidewalk to jot down a few more incidentals in his notebook. He already had page upon page of notes. He couldn't believe that Devlin Tremaine, an admitted warlock, wanted to serve as his guide and introduce him to the rest of his coven, especially to Bianca Klavelle.
Lenny had been skeptical at first when Dev claimed his title, but a few well-placed magic tricks convinced the writer as they walked after dinner last night to Lenny's new digs at the Chesterfield Hotel. Not only had Dev turned off all the street lamps up and down Newark Avenue, but he had turned them all on again with just a twitter of his fingers. Plus, he made all the horns go off simultaneously in the cars stopped at the red light. What a scene
