Prologue
“Papa can you recite the poem about the sea before I go to bed please?” asked eight-year-old Tyde.
“Of course I can my little princess.” said Finn as he tucked Tyde into bed.
“Down in the deep below you’ll see, fleets of shimmer fleets of glee, fairness, freedom and melody as the cheerful sing and swim with ease. For none can catch them, none can see, only the ones who are one with thee.”
“Papa are the people from the poem real?”
“They are real but people don’t know about them because they hide and stay far away so no one can see them.”
“How do people live underwater?”
“They aren’t people like us; they have tails and can breathe underwater.”
“OK papa” said Tyde as she yawned and drifted off to sleep.
