Tyde’s P.O.V.
When I saw Mica being pulled away by that thing I panicked, it wasn’t until I could no longer see him that I reacted. On my way out to him I grabbed a trident I saw in a corner and next to it were more of the ancient writings. When I got to him I couldn’t believe my eyes; Mica was in monster slaying mode. He decapitated that thing in lightning speed.
When he turned and saw me he looked worried. He apologized to me then reassured me he’d never hurt me. I’m not sure why though, maybe my expression gave him the idea I was afraid; which couldn’t be farther from the truth, so I just said OK and told him about what I saw on my way out.
Mica and I found ourselves in a secret chamber behind the wall that has the inscription on it. Inside was filled with glowing rocks forming a pathway to a floating challis in the centre of the room. This has to be some kind of trick; Osirin is a spear not a challis. Although I’m not sure of its exact location, I had a felling I was right on top of it.
The same feeling made me grab the challis; I was expecting the room to start to collapse or something but nothing, nothing happened. I called Mica over to read what is written on it, but he didn’t answer. When I turned to see what he was doing I realized I was alone and the room I was in suddenly had no walls or floor.
Before panic took over me I saw a glowing figure approaching from the distance. I’m not sure why, but I felt a peace seeing it. The way it moved gracefully, it almost looked like it was dancing, swaying like the calming water around us.
“Hello Tyde, I’m so happy to finally meet you.” It said.
“He- hello, how do you know my name?”
“I see all things, which means I know all things. My name is Goshen, I am the awakener and I’ve been waiting for you for a very long time.” Goshen said.
“Waiting for me, why and where is Mica?”
“Tyde, what I am about to show you is very important. I need you to focus and all the answers you seek will be given.” Goshen said.
***Vision Starts***
“This is a blasphemous thing to do, think of the consequences. Think about your lineage.” Said Hydra.
“You dare to threaten my lineage? Be grateful to the gods you are my cousin or I would’ve ended you without a second thought.” King Atlas said.
“One way or the other I will have my way Atlas and when I do you won’t have your little spear to protect you.” Hydra hissed before storming off.
Years later…
“King Atlas the invaders are heading towards Anudore. If we block them off at Coral Meadows we can stop them before they enter the city.” General Lucien advised.
“Give the order.” King Atlas ordered.
…
“You look tired cousin; you know all this fighting is not good for an old sick merman such as yourself.” Hydra Mocked.
“I can promise you I have a couple more epic battles left in me so surrender now or face my wrath.” King Atlas Warned.
“Hahaha, you will have better luck feeling my claw rip your heart out.” Hydra hissed before signalling her warriors to attack.
By the end of the battle King Atlas had Hydra captive. And his once favourite meadow now bathed in blood of both beloved friends and foes. When Hydra woke up in her new cell she warned that the kingdom was doomed because of Atlas’s selfishness for not dividing the kingdom, so she could become queen to her own kingdom.
She warned that once her beloved awoke from his hibernation and found her missing he would wreak havoc on everyone to get her back. Not that I am worried about her and her lover but knowing how crazy she is I need to guarantee the safety of my people and family for as long as I possibly can.
The best option I have is to keep her alive as I know her death with awaken her lover and who knows how long the war will take to end. My son is about to be born and I cannot risk his life being threatened due to an ongoing war.
After speaking to the council, we’ve all come to the agreement that a sacrifice be enough to keep her asleep for centuries is the best option. My life for the safety of my people; I will hide Osirin in a safe place where only my blood can access along with a clue to its location for my heirs to find disguised as a warning for evil who tries to find it. Once Osirin was hidden the only thing left to do was to summon Goshen to complete the ritual. Hydra went into a sleep like death guaranteed to last for centuries and I will pass away peacefully in my sleep days later, ensuring Leviathan stays asleep so my son can have a peaceful life.
Centuries later…
“Your Grace it’s time, She is finally waking up.” A servant advised
“Thank you, tell the guards to be prepared for anything. I’ll be there shortly.” King Luther III advised.
…
“I see my reputation precedes me.” Hydra laughed “Can anyone tell me how long I’ve been asleep for?” she asked
“You’ve been in my dungeon long before I was born and as you can see, I’m on my way to my grace.” King Luther III teased.
“And who exactly are you?” Hydra asked.
“I’m King Luther III, and today is your execution day.”
“Execution, what do you mean by execution, where is Leviathan, why hasn’t he come for me?” Hydra asked while panicking.
“He is still asleep, although he’ll be dead as soon as my men get to his resting place.” King Luther replied.
***End of Vision***
“I know where Osirin is!” “Goshen, can you please tell me what happened to my parent?”
“I will answer all your questions Tyde but right now you are under attack.” Goshen said before fading away bringing back the walls and floor of the room.
“Tyde… Tyde… We’re under attack.” Mica yelled.
