MY GIRLFRIEND DUMPED ME FOR A RICH KID. THEN I INHERITED A $7 TRILLION EMPIRE.

Maverick Koda has nothing. No parents, no family name, no future — just a beat-up scooter, a stack of unpaid rent notices, and a girlfriend who just dumped him in front of the whole campus for being "just a delivery boy."

Then one phone call changes everything.

A stranger's five-word message turns into an eighty-million-dollar deposit. A forgotten act of kindness ten years ago turns into a trillion-dollar inheritance. And Maverick Koda — the boy everyone laughed at — becomes the secret heir to one of the world's most powerful business empires.

But there's a catch: to claim it all, he must marry a woman he's never met.

Now, with a black card that never runs dry and a company empire at his fingertips, Maverick is done being humiliated. Every person who mocked him is about to learn his name. Every person who used him is about to pay it back — with interest.

She left him for being poor. Now she'll beg to be back in his life.

Revenge has never tasted this sweet — or come with this much money attached.

They called him trash. Now he owns the company they work for."

DELIVERY BOY
"Ring, ring!" Maverick quickly took out his phone and answered the call. "Hello?" "Is this Maverick Koda, Young Master Koda?" A deep, steady voice of a middle-aged man came from the other end of the phone and spoke without hurry. "I'm Maverick Koda, but I'm not Young Master Koda..." Maverick replied, puzzled. "Young Master Koda, there's an inheritance that you need to claim. Do you have time today?" The middle-aged man's tone was respectful, almost reverent, like he was speaking to someone far above his own station. "Heh, I have an inheritance to claim?" Maverick chuckled, his tone filled with helplessness. "Buddy, I think you have the wrong guy. My family is all gone. I'm an orphan. Where would I get an inheritance?" "Young Master Koda, the Koda family bloodline was never fully—" Maverick didn't wait for the explanation and hung up the phone, shaking his head lightly. "These scammers are getting really idle. I don't even have fifty bucks on me, and they think they can trick me? Claiming I have an inheritance? My parents have been dead for years, and if there was money, my uncle would've drained it already..." Just then, Maverick's phone rang again — same number. Without thinking, Maverick hit the reject button and shoved the phone into his jacket pocket. His delivery bag was already strapped to his back, three orders queued and the timer ticking down. If he was late again, the app would dock his rating, and a docked rating meant fewer orders, which meant even less rent money. He swung his leg over his beat-up scooter, parked outside the university gates, and was about to kick the engine to life when— "Snap!" A red high heel came down on the strap of his delivery bag, yanking him back before he could pull away. Instinctively, Maverick turned and looked up along the slender, beautiful leg. What he saw was a tall, sexy girl with a stunning figure. The girl had light makeup on her delicate face, wore a black tight-fitting T-shirt that perfectly outlined her chest, and a black denim mini-skirt that hugged her shapely hips. Her long, fair legs ended in a pair of red high heels, making her look incredibly alluring. "Selina, you... what are you doing here?" Maverick's eyes flashed with surprise when he saw the girl. The girl standing before him was none other than his girlfriend, Selina. "Maverick, why are you still doing this? Riding around campus with a food bag strapped to your back like some errand boy — do you have any idea how it looks when my friends see you?" Selina's pretty face turned cold, and she scolded Maverick without any mercy, her brows furrowing deeply. "I have three deliveries due in the next ten minutes, Selina, I don't have—" "What's there to explain? Forget it. If you want to spend your life delivering other people's lunch, I can't stop you. But from today on, we're breaking up. I don't want someone like you to be a stain on my life," Selina shouted at Maverick with a look of utter disgust. "Break up?" Maverick froze the moment he heard Selina's words, his eyes wide with shock. "Selina, you can't be serious, right?" "Serious? Do you think I'd joke with someone like you?" Selina sneered. "Why would you want to break up out of the blue?" "Why? Because you're broke, riding around with soup sloshing in your backpack! And because Dante's people are already circling you — did you think I didn't know about the debt?" Selina looked down at Maverick with disdain. "Take a good look at yourself. Do you think you deserve me? You can't give me what I want, and soon you won't even have a roof over your head!" Maverick's stomach dropped. He hadn't told anyone about the loan sharks. "How do you know about that?" Selina's lips curled, but she said nothing more, only turning away as if the answer didn't matter to someone like him. Maverick quickly stepped forward, trying to stop her, but just then, a young man emerged from behind Selina. He lifted his leg and kicked the delivery bag clean off Maverick's back, sending a container of noodles splattering across the pavement. "Dante?" Maverick took two steps back, his eyes filled with shock — not just at the kick, but at recognizing the man's face from the collection notices shoved under his apartment door. Selina skillfully hooked her arm around Dante's, her voice dripping with sweetness. "Maverick, this is my new boyfriend, Dante! He's better looking than you, richer than you, and he's about to own everything you have left." Maverick stared at Dante — not just a wealthy classmate this time, but the enforcer's son for the very agency chasing him for a debt he never even took out. "Maverick, from today on, Selina is my girlfriend. And that apartment you're renting? My family owns the building now. Clock's ticking. Oh — and you'll be paying for that ruined order too." Maverick gritted his teeth and remained silent, the pieces clicking into place — the breakup wasn't sudden. It had been planned the moment his name showed up on a repossession list. "Darling, don't waste your time with this kind of person. Let's go!" Selina nestled into Dante's arms. "You little vixen, can't wait to get a room with me, huh?" Dante chuckled, then pulled a few red bills from his pocket and waved them at Maverick. "Here — fifty bucks for the noodles and your trouble. Go buy us a box of condoms with the change, since you clearly need the cash more than your pride." Selina's eyes flickered with something like embarrassment, but she said nothing. Maverick's eyes burned with anger and, worse, a flicker of temptation — that fifty could cover the app's damage fee and still leave something for dinner. By now, students crowded around, phones half-raised, watching him with open disdain, as if his humiliation were the day's entertainment. "So — going or not?" Dante smirked. Maverick turned his icy gaze to Selina. "I hope you never regret this." "Regret what? Dumping a broke delivery boy about to lose his last fifty square feet?" Maverick didn't answer. He picked the ruined noodle container off the ground, righted his scooter, and drove off, the crowd's laughter chasing him down the street.
