After we got home we ate dinner than headed up to my room to relax.
"Noa I have practice early in the morning so I will try not to wake you up."
" I will be up anyway I have class tomorrow."
" This week will be the same as last week. I have an away game on Friday and I will back on saturday."
As Leo and Iwere talking his phone rang. Leo picks up his phone and mouths to me it’s his dad.
I whisper put it on speaker and he nods
“ Hello dad.”
“ Hello dad? Is that all you have to say for yourself. What the hell did you do Anakin?”
“ I have no idea what you are talking about.”
“ oh for the love of christ cut the bullsh*t right now.”
“ Dad I honestly have no clue.”
“ okay so you’re going to act dumb. Well I’ll tell you what I’m talking about. Stacey you know your soon to be wife called me and told me that you got a girl pregnant.”
“ is that right.”
“ you listen to me and you listen to me good Anakin Ronan Leo Bradford. I don’t give a f*ck who that slut you got pregnant is either you make the problem go away or I will do you understand me.”
“ Dad I would like to say something.”
“ what?”
“ The girl I got pregnant is Eryn and Mason Pérez daughter.” Leo says smiling
“ Damn it Anakin do you know what kind of position you put me in. Her parents are my partners yes but I still want you to marry Stacey. Which means you have to leave the Pérez girl.”
I felt my heart drop as I listened to the conversation happening. Leo notices and he whispers to me to stay calm.
“ Why dad? Isn’t this good for the company.”
“ Anakin think. The whole point of your marriage is for our company to take over Stacey’s dad’s company. The Pérez family already has a sucessor to their company. Stacey’s company doesn’t. She is the only kid of her father’s so you will not only be in control of our company but her company as well. You cannot do that with the Pérez family. So fix it.”
“ No. I won’t fix it because there is nothing to fix.”
“ Anakin I’m warning you don’t push me.”
“ Dad are you seriously that power hungry. You are already a billionaire what more do you want.”
“ I want you to marry Stacey and that’s final. Plus you signed a contract.”
“ no I didn’t. What are you talking about.”
“ oh but you did. Reminder when I gave you papers to sign regarding a company issue. The issue was a contract binding you and Stacey.”
“ Welp sucks for you dad because I’m not marrying a stuck up b*tch. I’m marrying the mother of my children one day.”and after saying that Leo hung up the phone.
I did not realize I was crying until Leo came over and wiped my eyes.
“ you haven’t asked me to be your girlfriend and you’re already talking about marriage.”
“ well you know we do everything backwards. And don’t listen to my father nothing is going to happen.”
He kisses my forehead and we get ready for bed.
While we were getting ready to go to sleep my phone dinged. It’s a message from my dad saying Mr.Bradford has requested a meeting with me, you, your mom, Leo and Loren.
“ Leo your dad contacted my father requesting a meeting for all of us.”
“ let’s turn our phones off and go to sleep. No more stressing Noa it’s not healthy.”
Leo tucks me into my side of the bed and he walks over to his side of the bed and climbs in behind me.
“ Goodnight Leo.”
“ Night sweetheart.”
