Perfect Mistake

It’s been two weeks since the bugs got done with the nursery. Even though I picked everything out Leo said I’m not allowed to see the nursery until Christmas.

It took all of me to not go across my room and open the nursery. But today is Christmas Eve which means I only have one more day till I can see it.

“ so what’s the plan for tomorrow?” Alex asks

“ I honestly don’t know.” I said as I flip through movies

“ Well my family is expecting me home around four and it’s an hour away.” Lily said

“ And my family usually starts things around two.” Leo said

“ How about we get up around 7:30am. Cook breakfast then we we’ll open presents.” Kate said

“ Damn that’s early.” Alex said

We all just laughed and Kate threw some popcorn at Alex. After we all agreed with Kate’s plan we decided to watch elf.

After we got done watching elf we watched all three of the Santa Clause movies. We kept on watching Christmas movies until midnight. I’m pretty sure I was the first to fall asleep.

I woke up to twelve different Alarms going off. When I open my eyes everyone is getting up but Alex.

Me, Lily, and Kate all give each other a look. Then we all turned our attention back on Alex with a devilish smile.

We slowly walk to wear Alex is laying and attack her.

“ Why why why!” Alex yells

“ because we love you.” Kate said

“ because it Christmas.” I say

“ because you didn’t get up.” Lily said

“ Fine I’m getting up.” Alex says

I remove her cover while Lily drags her up. The boys are already in the kitchen. When we get done with breakfast we all gather around the tree in the family room.

I’m wearing a gingerbread onesie, Kate is wearing a reindeer onesie, Alex is wearing a Christmas tree onesie and Lily is wearing a elf onesie. The boys are just wearing gym shorts and a shirt.

“Okay who gets to open their presents first?” Lily asks

“ let’s play Rock Paper Scissors. Winner gets to open presents first.” Tyson said

After what seemed like a five minute game of Rock Paper Scissors Alex beat everybody and Leo was second. Then it went Lily, me, Tyson and lastly Kate.”

Everyone got the gift they got Alex from under the tree and handed it to her. The first gift she opened was my gift to her. I got her a pair of black Doc Martinis with 100 dollar visa . The second gift was from Kate. She got her a Black Gucci book bag. Then she opens Lily gift which is a 100 dollar visa and a Ulta beauty gift card. The boys got her a visa and my parent and Lily’s parents got her a Dunkin and Starbucks gift card.

“Lily and I don’t really know you that well but we think you’ll really like our gift.” Alex hands Leo his gift and he has a big smile on his face. They got him a Russell Wilson Jersey.”

“ Thank you guys.” I really do like it

He went on to open the rest of his presents. He opened my present last. I got him a dad shirt that says “ Mess with papasaurus and you’ll get jurasskicked” I thought that was funny. I also got him a Rolex, and a baseball Jersey.

Lily got a lot of good gifts I got her a channel bag and my parents got her the same thing Alex got.

When it was my turn to open presents I got really excited to see what Leo got me. Alex got me a pair of earrings and a 100 dollar visa. Kate got me a Luis Vuitton backpack. Lily got me a visa and a necklace. Tyson gave me a gift card as well. When it was my turn to open Leo’s gift I got so excited. Leo got me a mom shirt that says bam and underneath bam it says bad ass mom. The second gift was two charm too add to my charm bracelet. The charms had two R’s on it. When I was done with his gift I was about to kiss him when he left and came back with a puppy.

“ oh my gosh you didn’t” I say

“ but I did.” Leo said

Leo hands me a toy teddy bear dog with light brown fur. I kiss Leo as I hold my new puppy.”

“ I thought it would be a good present for you and for our kids to grow up with a dog.”

“ I love it.”

After Kate And Tyson open their presents. We all say out thank youse and go our separate ways. Leo and I head upstairs with Meeko.

Leo says he has a cage he Just needs to put it together but since we a running low on time We takes turns holding Meeko while the other gets ready. I’m wearing a an long sleeve emerald green wrap dress that goes to my knees. I put on grey wedges and put my hair in half up half down. Leo dressed up in a green button up shirt and grey pants with his new silver Rolex watch.

I take Meeko to use the bathroom then I put him in his doggy carry on that Leo got me.

Leo the packs the car with gifts for our families and we head to his parents house.

When we arrive at Leo’s parents house all his family is there his aunts and uncles. Everyone greeted me but his dad.

We gave Leo’s sisters their gift and his parents their gifts. They all thank us for our gifts but Leo’s dad still has not said anything to me.

Leo’s mom then comes up to us and hands Leo a gift and me one as well. In Leo’s gift he got a Visa card. When I opened my gift my eyes started to water. Leo’s mom gave me two silver baby bracelets.

“ thank you so much.” I said to Leo’s mom

“ I may not be thrilled about this but your parents are right it’s too late to change anything. So I’m going to try to be better.”

“ that’s all I ask for mom. Is for you to try.” Leo said and gave his mom a hug.

When we got done at Leo’s parents house we go to my parents house.

My family and Kate’s family are all at my parents. I carry in Meeko while Leo carries some of the gifts.

When my mom opens the door her eyes go to Meeko immediately.

“ He did not.” My mom says

“ but he did.” I squealed

“ Leo he is adorable. Good job on picking.” My mom says

Leo smiles Ave leaves to get the rest of the presents.

Once we get in we eat dinner then we open presents.

Everyone liked the presents that Leo and I got them. Leo then thanked everyone for the presents he got.

After I opened my siblings gifts that they got me I opened. My parents gift which was two necklaces one says Reign the other says Rowan.
