Chapter 2 Daisy was patiently waiting for his brother to pick her up after her mother informed her that Lian had left their house already to pick her up. She was sitting on the sofa, playing with her phone with her friend beside her, who was watching a movie. “Daisy, I think that’s your brother already,” Alina said as soon as they heard the sounds of a car engine stop in front of Alina's house. Daisy closed the app in her phone and stood up after hiding her phone inside her pocket. She pushed the curtain open a bit and checked through the window to confirm if it was her brother or not. Seeing Lian coming out of the driver’s seat, she turned around. “Yup, he’s here. I need to go. Bye,” Daisy bid goodbye to her friends and waved at them. After taking her bag from the sofa, she went straight out of the door and greeted her brother, who was now leaning at the hood of his car and waiting for her. ‘Geez, did he think he’s some kind of cool kid straight from the movies?’ she thought to herself. She couldn’t help but still feel excited and happy. In the morning, she was already at Alina’s place. She was helping Alina to prepare for her upcoming wedding. Since they were best friends, she was his maid of honor, and that title didn’t go for display alone. That also meant that she had to take care and help her with preparations. She's an interior designer, while her brother was the CEO of her father's company. Due to their conversation, she kept quiet throughout the ride home. As soon as Lian had parked his car on the patio of their house, Daisy immediately opened the passenger door of the car and got out as fast as she could without uttering a word. She was really hurt when she heard Lian say that he hated her. She also found it strange to feel like that after she heard his words. It seemed like it had a big impact on her when she would just usually laugh at such words before. Not minding it, she entered the house and went straight to her bedroom. Not a minute later, she heard her brother’s car engine turning on again. Peaking at the window of her room, she saw his car drive off again. ‘Guess he would still go to the gym,’ she thought before closing her window curtain with a scowl on her lips. It turned out that he really only picked her up. Trying to dismiss what she was feeling, she just changed her clothes quickly and slammed herself on her bed. She decided to just sleep her annoyance off. She couldn’t believe that Lian actually said that he hated her and didn’t even say sorry for it. The thing was… It wasn’t new to her anymore. But for some unknown reason, those three words hurt her today. She felt like he actually hated her this time, and he meant what he said more than he intended to show. And seeing that he drove off just like that without saying anything to her, not even an apology or a goodbye, showed that what she was thinking might just be the truth. Daisy silently cried her heart out until she dozed off from exhaustion. She didn’t wake up until she felt a warm hand caressing her cheek. She steered up from her sleep. "Lian…" "Sis… I love you…" she heard him whisper. "Lian, I love you too …" she replied and held the hand of Lian's hand that was touching her face. Feeling his warm hand on her cheek, she wanted it to stay longer in there while she stared at his handsome face that was staring right back at her. It made her feel… peaceful. He had a pair of blue eyes, and his eyelashes were long. His nose was talk, and his jaws were sharp. Her brother was indeed very handsome, and he couldn’t be compared to any man she had seen in her life. "You're so beautiful, Sis,” he suddenly told her. "So you are, bro, your lips so kissable," she couldn’t help but tell him. "So are you. I want to kiss you…" Lian said in a hoarse tone, which made her heart beat incredibly fast. Subconsciously, she closed her eyes and waited for her brother’s lips to collide with hers. Daisy didn’t wait for long because not even a minute had passed, and she already felt his smooth and kissable lips leaning into her lips. She felt him nibble on her upper lips before his tongue slowly made its way inside her mouth. It was her first kiss, and it was incredible. It was sending butterflies in her stomach, and her heart was racing so fast inside her chest. She didn’t know how to kiss, so she just let her brother guide her through it. She followed his movements and did as he whispered to her to do. His tongue started exploring her mouth while her brother’s hands supported the back of her head, pulling her head closer to his, which only deepened their heated kiss. Meanwhile, her hands were clanging around her brother’s nape. She was hugging him now, and their bodies were so close to each other. She wanted to be engulfed even closer to him, to be as close as she could to him. It made her feel so good being next to Lian’s body. "Ohhh…" she moaned from the overflowing desire she was feeling at the moment. At the back of her mind, something said that what they were doing wasn’t right. That it wasn’t a good thing. It said that they must stop. If Lian wouldn’t stop, then she must push him away, but she couldn’t do it. Her body won’t move to her mind’s instructions. Then it happened. She felt Lian’s hands roam from her stomach up to her chest, which made her hitch her breath as another moan escaped her lips.
