Love you from the end of the world

Teens would do anything to study fast and have fun at the same time. That's what she planned, but once she started, there was no way back. It hadn't been that long since Joan's family connected their computer to thr internet. She even received a webcam. 'How fun it will be to keep in touch with my friends', thought Joan. But she had no idea that a random idea her Spanish teacher mentioned would mark her for life. 'Well, I guess if I talk to other people in Spanish I might learn it faster! I will have fun for sure!' Joan felt that summer was soon to arrive on her end of the world. The trees were green, the birds were singing and she could keep her window open at night and even some a cigarette while her family was asleep. She was a dreamer, ambitious and confident, but innocent and young enough to desire adventure. Tall, long fair hair and green eyes, a long nose, but just right for her round face. That was a glimpse of Joan when she was a teen. The days passed and she had started chatting to her friends online, even relatives and she also made new friends. There was one who she found quite funny, but had not seen him on the webcam yet. He made her laugh and his Spanish seemed different than the one she was being taugt at school. 'Oh my! This guy is so silly. He is quite hilarious! So many questions about Dracula's Castle. I've only been there like 3 times myself. How should I know more about it. Well, he is still quite interesting.' It was a regular afternoon for Joan and she was finishing her homework. School was soon over and sunmer holidays would start. There was not much to do in her small town during summer. She was certain she would have a lot of time to chat with her new friend, or maybe even see him. Afterall, the webcam was there, just waiting to be used.
