Colby's POV
The night went as expected. It was busy enough to keep me running around with only a little bit of time to check up on Julia and John with their personal talk. I didn't get to hear any of the details as I had hoped for because I am afraid he is going to try to take advantage of her kind nature to get forgiveness for his wrongdoing. I do have to admit that things looked serious for a good chunk of their conversation, showing that she wasn't just giving in and arguing back.
Which I do have to say I was happy to see that she is not a push over, but for the last hour or so with the drinks endlessly flowing, it's starting to seem as if the mood is lighter than before. Much lighter, as if they are chummy once again, which is where I was hoping things wouldn't get to. Especially w
