I stare up at the ceiling trying to figure out how I am going to tell Julia about this because I don't want to make her feel worse during this time that is already almost too much to bear. That is before I hear Julia in the bathroom yelling for me. "Colby?" I jump up without hesitation before getting to the bathroom faster than we both probably expected. I freeze in front of the door knowing if I can't go in, because i don't want to barge in on her private time.
