Chapter 15: MalakiSerenity got my message. She may not be able to help me right away, but I know she’s working on it. There for a while she was flickering the lights once a day, or at least that’s what it seemed like. I know I’m not going crazy; it was her. The lights haven’t flickered for a while now, but I know she’ll be back to check in on me. Every time it happens I force myself to keep my expression calm, even if I’m alone. But I also prepare myself in case the flickering lights are one day a signal for me to run out the door. Obviously Serenity owns this place’s computer system now. All I’m really waiting for is back-up or a weapon.
