the beginning

Everyone gets nervous on their first day of school, so it's quite normal that I feel like my stomach will explode, right? My name is Tori, I'm 15 years old and today I'll be starting an after school lesson to help my grades. I'll admit, I'm not very good at calculating, so I it's understandable to say I hate math. But I have an intense love for English language. I love reading, it helps you escape everyday life and take you all around the world or even different Era. it's now 3:35pm and the classes start at 4. it's a few blocks away from my home so I'll just walk there. Thankfully I do have 1 friend attending the classes with me so I won't feel so lonely but it'll still be a new environment and new faces. "ugh I think I'm gonna be sick" I murmured while I approach closer to the building. My hand unconsciously goes to my stomach. My friend, Angel, came out of the building went she saw me approaching and she hugged me. After she pulled away, she started laughing, "Why do you look so green?" I rolled my eyes at her. "I'm nervous ok, you can't blame me." She chuckled as she hooked her hand with mine and pulled me into the building. Everyone were doing their own things but in my mind, I felt like everyone was starting at me. I felt even more nervous. Someone from a different room called out for Angel and she looked at me nervously, I narrowed my eyes at her. "why do I feel like you're about to give me bad news news". She smiled nervously at me, "Do you know how much I love you?" "Oh god what happened?" "Well don't freak out ok?" "I'll try not to" I glared at her while she bit her nails. "soooooo apparently we'll be in different classes" My eyes went wide, my stomach turned up, my anxiety went from 1-100 really fast. "What? Why? How?...... WHAT???!!!" "OK OK calm down, my mom wanted me to do the old classes back to catch up at a good pace so I had to start from a grade lower, I'm so sorry. But you don't need to worry. There's a few cute guys in your class." she wiggled her eyebrows at me. I facepalmed myself, I can't believe I'm friends with this goof. I rolled my eyes for about the 100th times today. She hugged me again, "oh come on, they're really cute. There's Taylor, Jimmy and JK" I can't believe this, I'll be by myself. One of the professor came up behind us and told us to get to our class. I slowly walked into the class, looking from left to right, bottom to top. I was an absolute mess and I think everyone knew that by the way they kept staring at me. "Ohhhh how I wished the ground can swallow me" I whispered.
