Tropical Fling

After a rough day at work, Julia turned the key to the door to her small London apartment, dropped everything and headed straight to the shower, humming as she washed the day off. Wrapping the towel around her slender frame, she walked out of the shower towards the bedroom. She was expecting to be the only one home then, noticing her bedroom door ajar, she moved slowly towards it, only to hear muffled sounds. As she pushed the door open, she saw her husband, Jame's sweaty back, as he had someone bent over, giving her his all from back. “Yes, Julia doesn't give you like that,” she recognized the voice instantly. "You are enjoying this, aren't you?" James voice sounded course as he slapped her ass. Julia clicked the lights on Jame's head flashed around fear in his eyes, her best friend Cindy grabbed the sheet and wrapped it around her. Julia stood silent with tears streaming down her face. “This is not what you think,” James looked at her with pleading eyes. “It just happened, Julie, I had a weak moment.” Without a word, as the most important people in her life scrambled off her matrimonial bed to put their clothes on, she went straight to the closet, pulled on jeans and T-shirt, grabbed a suitcase and threw a few pieces in. “Julie, I am sorry I got carried by my fantasies about James,” Cindy pleaded holding onto her arms, Julia flashed her hands off and continued packing as they both stood there pleading with her to say something. She took her suitcase, dropped the keys on the kitchen counter, without word or looking back, she stepped through the door, not knowing what her next move would be. She had given James the best parts of her, he was her world and now that world is shattered. Julia booked a room in a small Airbnb. As she dragged her suitcase into the cozy room, she broke down in tears. She had been alone in a foreign country trying to make a life when she met James. He was her everything. He made her adjust to a new and scary environment and pushed her to achieve her goal. She thought that just as he was her everything, she was his. They got married in a small wedding with a few of his family and friends when her study visa was close to expiring 6 years ago. Since then, they have been building a life of their own. She met Cindy at her first job in a café when she was attending university. They were best friends and each would die for each other. As she remembered the old days with tears in her eyes, her phone kept buzzing as they both tried to contact her. She had started to feel anger, not seeing her family for the past 5 years. She pushed everything into her career and married life, as she cried herself to sleep, her thoughts wondering what her next move would be. James Morant stood at the altar decorated with white and yellow lilies with a splash of gold, his skin shone brightly under the summer sun matching with the gold decoration. Julia smiled as her eyes caressed the way his dark skin almost looked golden. She looked down as her simple cream dress with lace trimmings hugged her small figure. She had opted to wear a cute kitten heel sandal as it matched her simple outdoor wedding well. Julia looked up, and the clouds started to darken over her wedding. As she put out her hands, a raindrop fell into her palms. She then looked at James, seeing his naked back with raindrops dripping. He looked around and flashed an evil smile at her. Julia jumped from her dreams, cold sweat washed over her as she sat up in the bed. Before she could think about what she was doing, she grabbed her phone and started to draft an email to her boss. She had never taken time off and at that moment all she wanted was to run away. After clicking send, she quickly booked the first flight home, away from James, Cindy, everything. A few miles away in the city, her boss, Tony, lay in bed reading her email with a smile on his face. Julia’s finally breaking free.
