I never felt the need to wander in places I've never been. I never could've imagined that someone like you actually exists in another Universe. It was just a mere coincidence that you were just one click away. But was it really worth it when I took the chance to get to know you? Whatever it is that the red string may put in us, I will always remember the fact that there is no certainty between us. I met Edward in Paris when I was using Tinder out of boredom. It was 6 years ago,but I can still vividly remember what our first date went like. He even kissed me on my forehead that night. Edward is a consigliere and a lawyer of a big gang in his country.He is from Italy but has gone on a vacation and business trip in Paris. I didn't dig more of his past and present and whoever he is and whatever he does, but all I know that night is that he was like my knight in shining armor. Yes, he does belong in a mafia which is a very dangerous way of life. He's tall, manly, does smell expensive they say, he's the dream of every woman out there. I was in the last year of my college when we met and things really didn't go in our way and the way on how things would work for both of us. He understood my situation for being a student, and respected my space but when it was time to do his job, he chose to part ways with me because it would cost me safety for him to be with me. That day was the most heartbreaking part of my love life because not only I cannot be with the man I love but also he did not choose to be with me to live a peaceful life. But then despite that, I knew that he will never have a life without the mafia boss who has helped him to go on with his life back then that is why he really wanted to pay him back and dedicate his life to him which was really unfortunate to us.
