Dave's POV
Cassy had to be the only one who kept turning me down. Everytime I offered her something, her first response was a “no”. According to my lawyer, Mr Gregory, I was supposed to ask her out without any sort of threat attached.
See how well that worked out for me. She rejected me without a second’s thought and I couldn't persuade her without threatening her. It took a lot for me to walk away after she said no.
Now, I was going to have dinner by myself. Great advice, Mr Gregory.
When my driver dropped me at a restaurant, where I liked having dinner, I noticed how he even had a woman he was sharing dinner with outside the restaurant. I caught myself watching them laughing and shook my head.
That would have been me and Cassidy if I had not messed things up.
