What the fuck... Be his woman? He had to be high on something. I looked around to see everyone looking at us. Even the music had stopped. The entire party was at a halt to see what my response would be.
“ Say yes.” A lady in the crowd chanted.
Another chanted. Soon the crowd was expectant. I wasn't moved by it all. I could still walk away from the party, just like Diane.
Randomly, my gaze landed on Dave's. He looked just as shocked as I was. Then, his eyes narrowed in anger. I looked to see Mira was still beside him. All these while, he had been with her when I was supposedly his “date”.
