I froze at the bottom of the ladder, feeling my breath cut into my throat as my eyes filled with tears.
At the bottom of the stairs, in all his beauty, was my brother. Black hair messed up, and eyes like mine pointed at me. I ran down the last steps and rushed into his arms which had already opened.
I slammed against his chest and began to cry as I clung to him and let hiccups shake my body.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, lifting myself on my toes until I jumped and surrounded him with my legs.
