Sunrise on the Brisbane River: A Tale of Intrigue
A guy closed his eyes to feel the calmness when he opened his eyes slowly he saw the waves of rivers, as the sun starts to rise it start radiating its rays on the water making it sparkle like stars encircling the moon at night
He continued walking on the Bridge located above the Brisbane River.
"This place is the only reason I'm alive " his deep husky voice was enough for him to hear. He chuckled when he starts admiring the bridge as if he is seeing it for the first time. The Story Bridge stands tall and proud, spanning the majestic Brisbane River with its elegant grace. Its steel structure reaches out like a giant work of art, connecting the bustling cityscape on both sides. Bathed in warm sunlight, the bridge's shimmering surface reflects the vivid blue sky above.
He was peacefully walking there but his peace was stolen by the ringtone
"Darn it, who's it now?"He questioned himself while taking his phone out of the pocket of his black hoodie
"What's it now?" he asked right after attending his call
"sir we found out something "
"Is it about her?" he suspiciously asked
"yes sir, " the guy from the other side of the phone said
Smirked appeared on his face and he start walking towards his black Rolls Royce's Boat Tail
He started the engine and started his journey but there was something in his heart as if he is going to do something he has been waiting for.
He ended his journey in front of a huge black gate
"Welcome Back sir " Guards greeted him when he got out of the car instead of replying to them he threw his keys to a boy standing at the corner
"Park it " He ordered before walking into the Mansion
A beautiful Balck mansion surrounded by men wearing black suits
"Sir Your breakfast is ready, " A woman said while walking behind him
"I'll have it later, I've import work to be done "
The lady didn't dare to speak and he walked towards the stairs but then he asked
"If Herry comes then ask him to wait in the living room "
That guy nodded immediately
He went upstairs
The whole Mansion was filled with silence just collapsing of black monk shoes on the floor on black marble was hearable
Two Boys wearing black suits one of them was fixing their acoustic tube earpieces and the other one was holding a laptop
"Have you got what I asked for?" a deep husky voice took their attention they looked at the guy walking towards a couch
"Yes sir, " one of them said
He sat on the couch
"bring it here "his deep voice was enough to make Startled one of them
He gave him a dead glare
"am I supposed to place it on my lap ?" he asked
"huh? " that guy was confused
The other one approaches them
"I'm sorry sir here you go," he said while placing the table in front of him
That guy set the laptop on the table
He unlocked the laptop
His lips curved into a smirk
"Great "
Both the other guys looked at each other in confusion as they are not used to getting remarks from him
"Is there anyone you guys know, who is searching for a job ?" that guy asked
"Unfortunately no sir " one of them spoke
The other one seemed to be lost in his thought
"Herry is there someone you know ?" he asked in a suspicious tone
"uhm no sir "
He sarcastically laughed before saying
"you may leave " he ordered but stopped when he noticed both of them leaving
"not you " he pointed at Herry
They both looked at each other in fierce
That guy left and Herry stopped at his place
"I know you lied, common on Tell me or I have other ways to ask " He rise his eyebrow
"I don't have anyone "
"I said go ahead stop hiding it from me or else you know what I am capable of right "
"alright there's a guy I know "
His smirked grew
"Good then bring him here "
Herry closed his eyes while nodding
