Shu, despite his usual optimism, felt anger bubbling inside. He challenged Wei to a duel, determined to prove himself. The match was intense, with Wei’s fiery strikes clashing against Shu’s unpredictable powers. At a critical moment, Shu’s rune activated, creating a shield that deflected Wei’s attack.
Though the duel ended in a draw, Master Tian intervened, warning Shu about relying solely on his divine gift. “True cultivation requires discipline, not just raw power,” he said.

Shu took the advice to heart, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that his destiny was intertwined with the ancient images he had seen.
