Allegra POV
It was past midnight when my phone started to buzz. I haven’t slept much and I was restless. Still, I just had dozed off for the third time that night. When my phone started to buzz again, I saw on the screen that it was Nicholas Graves. I thought I was dreaming until I dropped my phone on my face. Oh well, now I was wide awake and feeling silly, but I was with a wide smile on my face. Mom was right. He did come around!
“Hey, you! I was worried about…”
“I’m so sorry, Allegra. I… I… I need to apologize to you properly. Oh, and I’m sorry I called you so late. I should have waited until the next morning.”
