I left my mom’s office with a heavy heart. This has been one hell of a week, no doubt about it. What was supposed to be a cause for joy and excitement almost ended up as a tragedy, and on top of that, when we were recovering from the event, there was yet another bomb, in this case, a private bomb for Nicholas.
He left my mom’s office almost to escape the news, saying he wanted to be alone. I did not know how to act, because sometimes I told people that I wanted to be alone, but many times I needed their company, even in silence, just to show that they were there for me.
