Lilian’s POV:
I was not longing to go back home. My task there would be hard and bitter. At the end of the battle, we took a prisoner that was also the father of one of the competitors. I believed that Nicholas was innocent, but his image towards the coven would definitely not get better after this episode. After all, how can a son be so detached from his own father?
If this young man wanted to stay in the competition, he needed to sever the ties with his own family. Would he choose Allegra and consequently us over his own father? This is not an easy choice for a child in any circumstance. He would have to forget where he came from for a future in the coven. And as for me, I honestly was not looking forward to doing this ultimatum.
There were actually a lot of loose ends in this story.
