Alistair’s POV:
"You know, Allegra, I think Nicholas has a bit of a point. Who knew that one day I would ever agree with that guy," I told Allegra and laughed to myself, because I had already been so jealous of Allegra with him that I had lost my mind, but now I felt a little sorry for Nicholas.
We were in the coven training gym, her, and I, though I knew a few others would come in a few minutes to share the problem and maybe help Nicholas come up with a rescue plan.
"You cannot be serious!" Allegra exclaimed to me and continued, "We don't take Logan, okay. He would take unnecessary risk and just get in the way, but me not coming along? I am responsible for the promise, Alistair! I have to be there!" She tried to convince me, but to no avail.
