KAIA'S POV. I was curled up in bed, the soft light of my lamp spilling over the pages of my book. The night was quiet, the kind of silence that usually helped me relax. Except I couldn't fully relax tonight with Leander being away. Goddess, I feel so clingy. It hasn't even been up to twenty four hours since he left and I'm already this way. At this point I'm starting to worry for myself. I had just gotten to the middle of a chapter when my phone buzzed sharply on the nightstand.
