SILVER'S POV I didn’t know when I fell asleep. One second I was lying in bed, and the next I was somewhere else. I was standing in a long hallway. It was old and quiet. The walls were cracked, and the lights above me flickered like they couldn’t decide whether to stay on or off. Somewhere behind me, I heard a clock ticking. But it didn’t sound normal.
